Our Philosophy

We are fortunate to be doing what we love—and we bring that sense of enthusiasm to every project.

We realize that home renovation is often a challenging undertaking. The company you entrust with your project should have experience, longevity and integrity. With 28 years of experience, we offer a level of supervision and meticulous attention to detail often lacking in construction today. Our philosophy—treat our customer’s home with the same care, respect and focus on quality as we would our own home.

The Team

Over the years Douglas Streeter, Inc. has been serving the Westchester community, a skilled team of craftsmen have been carefully chosen to bring you the highest quality product. Integrity, attention to detail, and a drive to exceed expectations are the hallmark of each trade we employ. From environmental systems to tile setters, from plumbers to painters and every trade in between, all provide the highest quality workmanship that will ensure a comfortable home you can enjoy for years to come.

Doug Streeter, President

Since launching Douglas Streeter, Inc. in 1993, Doug has always taken great satisfaction in finishing a project knowing that every detail has been attended to. He takes a hands-on approach to managing the daily work of every project - coordinating the work flow of trades, problem solving the myriad issues typical to modernizing older homes, and offering design alternatives to augment approved plans.

Doug has always been interested in building —from his early years of designing and building his own Soap Box Derby racer, to hand crafting a classic ‘Adirondack’ style kayak, Doug appreciates the process and attention to detail required in the pursuit of excellence. After college, Doug attended The Shelter Institute—a design/build school in Bath, Maine.

Scott Ransom, Vice President
